How it works

Four steps. One motion at a time.

AptVote is designed around the actual rhythm of apartment boards — write the motion, notice the building, collect ballots, close the record. Everything else is just tooling for those four steps.

01

Write the agenda item like you already do

Drop the motion text and the context into AptVote. Keep the wording the board approves — the ballot reads exactly that.

02

Generate unit-scoped codes

Each apartment receives a single-use code. Codes ship with the notice, or print alongside the paper agenda if that is still part of your building rhythm.

03

Open the voting window

Residents scan the link, enter their code, and submit a ballot. No account, no app, no password recovery flow.

04

Close and export the record

Tally and participation log compile into a board-ready packet: result, turnout, timestamps, and a signature audit trail.
